Simone Biles Slams Haters For Criticising Her Hair at 2024 Paris Olympics

The gymnastics champ wants everyone to stop making comments about a ‘Black girl's hair.’

On Tuesday (July 30), Simone Biles responded to negative comments that were made about her hair during the 2024 Paris Olympics.

“Don’t come for me about my hair. IT WAS DONE but [the] bus has NO AC [and] it’s like 9,0000 degrees,” she wrote in an Instagram Story of herself using a portable fan while traveling on a bus. “Oh [and] a 45 min ride,” she added.

In a follow-up post, the Ohio native wrote, “Gonna hold your hand when I say this… Next time you wanna comment on a Black girl’s hair, JUST DON’T.”

According to Reuters, Paris is experiencing a massive heatwave that has forced the 2024 Paris Olympics to tweak some games. Competitors are being allowed to get more rest and water breaks.

As reported by BET, Biles won her eighth Olympic media on Tuesday after Team USA won gold in the women’s gymnastics team final. This makes her the most decorated U.S. gymnast of all time.
