Pusha T Won't Release Album on Black Friday
Sorry, kids. You might not find Pusha T's album stuffed in your stocking this Christmas. The rapper announced today that his much-anticipated solo debut has been delayed again. The record was originally slated for release this summer and then was pushed back to Black Friday, the day after Thanksgiving that kicks off Christmas shopping season. Now, there's no word on when Mr. Thornton will drop his album.
“No, I’m not putting it out on Black Friday. The actual album is not finished, and I don’t have a title for it,” he said to Bootleg Kev. “I’ve been making records. I’ve got eight records. I don’t know what’s going to make the album. We’ve definitely found a groove, though. I can honestly say with ‘Ye executive producing this thing, it’s going to be a masterpiece. Lyrically, know one thing, lyric-driven. Street, for sure.”
At least fans will have his Fear of God: Let Us Pray EP to hold them over. Decon Records/GOOD Music will release it on September 27.
