DMX is struggling with a lot of issues right now but he, like many, turns to prayer during difficult times.

That’s what he did Thursday (September 1) during the opening night of the Bad Boy Family Reunion Tour. Prior to Diddy and the rest of the label’s most memorable acts hitting the stage, X demonstrated the same passion he has for music through his spirituality. He asked for grace and blessings and that all obstacles that be placed in his path be removed in the name of the lord.

“Father God, we thank you for this gathering of souls,” DMX said backstage as everyone bowed their heads. “The word says that when two or more gather in your name you are present, so we thank you for your presence. We ask that your grace and blessings are upon this show this evening. We pray that any obstacles the devil plans to place in our path are removed in the name of Jesus! We pray that there are no fightings, no stabbings, no shootings, no arrests, no drunk drivings, no altercations or incidents whatsoever!”

A lot of "Amens" and "yes lords" followed some of his most profound statements. Sounds like X has a career as a preacher if his rap money dries up.
