Cam'ron Has Something To Say About Kanye West And Jay-Z's Beef

He’s clearly picked a side on this one.

Diplomats clique flag bearer Cam’ron has reentered the rap scene for 2017 with The Program, a 15-track mixtape complete with the Harlem emcee’s classic sounds, courtesy of JustBlaze and Araab Muzik.

Though the project has arrived rather late in the year, Cam’s lyrical statement on one of the tracks touches on a timeless subject matter: the brotherhood-turned-bad-blood between Kanye West and Jay-Z.

“Cole Slaw,” the project’s fourth single, immediately begins with Killa Cam spitting his thoughts on the Hov versus Yeezy saga, poking at the G.O.O.D. Music boss’s downward spiral of 2016.

“Kanye got on stage, what he do? Played Jay-Z out,” Cam raps. “What he do next? Check into the crazy house?/ F**k that you made a living talking greasy/ Besides that man you Yeezy with the Yeezys.”

With name-drops galore, Cam recommends that ‘Ye come out of hiding and own up to the error of his ways.

“Be yourself, you ain't gotta go AWO/ And f**k that, ‘Ye yay been this way since yay tall,” he finishes on the verse. “If you regret it then dead but if you said it you said it/ You meant what you said, can't tell me forgive and forget it.”

The verse couldn’t come at a more coincidental time, as recent reports of a “Yeezy Sound” streaming service in the works have surfaced. Should these reports hold any weight, Yeezy’s new business endeavor could be a significant pinch to his personal and working relationship with Hov.

2018 is looking interesting already.

Take a listen to Cam's message to Kanye in the official "Cole Slaw" track below.
