As the group became more famous, their access to drugs and other detrimental things grew as well. K-Ci and JoJo both battled with alcoholism. As well, Devante got robbed for $20,000 worth of jewelry in '93. These things and more contributed to the group's decline.

After five years, Zayn Malik decided to move on with his career and leave One Direction. It was a sad day for an international group whose success rivaled that of The Beatles. 

In 2003, lead singer Keven 'Dino' Connor died in car accident along with his fiancée at the time, Teshya Rae Weisent.
