Rick Ross Announces New Album, Hood Billionaire
Self-made Maybach Music Group boss Rick Ross is truly a Mastermind. It’s only been six months since he dropped his latest No. 1, and he’s already talking a new album.
Rozay released the first single, “Elvis Presley BLVD” featuring Project Pat off his upoming album Hood Billionaire, along with the announcement, made via Twitter earlier today. Like a true bawse, the song came as a new video, complete with a P.S.A. for Hood Billionaire promising a Black Friday (Nov. 28) release.
“Elvis Presley BLVD,” stays in the lane of a traditional Ross hood classic, with a base heavy beat and redundant catchy metaphors showcasing his ability to recycle a drug tale like no other. “I’m ridin’ down Elvis Presley boulevard,” Rozay repeats as a prequel to cocaine and other narcotic references. Rap veteran Pat comes through with a Memphis, Tenn. trapstar to flow to match as both rappers salute Elvis and Priscilla Presley in possibly one of the most unique tributes ever.
With Meek Mill’s album pushed back due to his incarceration, MMG now has Hood Billionaire and Wale’s The Album About Nothing in their Fall 2014 release lineup.
