Jay-Z & Kanye May Be Close To Mending Their Broken Relationship

Hip-hop needs "The Throne" to get back together!

A little piece of hip-hop fans everywhere died when Jay-Z revealed his broken relationship with Kanye West couldn’t easily be mended during his Rap Radar Podcast interview. After Kanye rambled about Jay’s family on stage during one of his concerts, Hov indicated that he crossed a line that even Yeezus couldn’t reverse. But after taking some time apart, it seems the brothers are reportedly working towards a reconciliation, TMZ reports.

According to reports, Kanye was the first one to reach out to Jay in hopes of scheduling a face-to-face meet up with his “big brother.” It’s unclear whether the “Family Feud” artist accepted the invitation, but at least the first move has been initiated.

If this sit-down actually happens, it won’t be short and sweet. While Jay admitted the two have had “bigger issues” in the past, he said Kanye’s recent outburst cut deeper. “What really hurt me was, you can’t bring my kids and my wife into it,” he said during the Rap Radar Podcast. “Like, Kanye’s my little brother. He’s talked about me 100 times. He made a song called Big Brother. We’ve gotten past bigger issues but you brought my family into it, now it’s a problem… That’s a real real problem.”

In other Kanye and Jay-Z news, both Graduation and Blueprint turned 10 and 16 years old respectively. Each project undoubtedly solidified their positions in the rap game. So we  can all agree that Jay and Ye apart is pretty iconic, but together, they’re unstoppable. Besides, we need a Watch the Throne 2.
