Game will commemorate a decade since The Documentary dropped by unleashing its follow-up on the same date. The Documentary 2, his 10th solo album, is slated for release Jan. 18, 2015, exactly 10 years after his debut. 

As pointed out by Miss Info, the release happens to fall on a Sunday instead of a Tuesday, like most albums.

Nonethless, the Compton MC is sticking to his personal history. He shared the news on Instragram yesterday (Aug. 28) writing, "The Documentary 2 dropping January 18th…. Exactly 10 years from The Documentary….. Nobody is f---king with 2 !!!!!!!!! So don’t drop nowhere near me….. You’ve been warned ! For the people out there like me…. I salute all who are relentless at defying the odds to ensure their own success. Those who dream while still awake…. It is us that hold the keys to the future, keep grinding.. #BloodMoney"

Ahead of The Documentary 2 will be Year of the Wolf, Games's new compilation featuring artists from his Blood Money record label. That album drops in October.

The Documentary 2 is Game's first solo studio album since 2012's Jesus Piece.
