Nicki Minaj Says It Isn't Time to Act Yet

Nicki Minaj gives a glimpse of her acting chops in her new video, "Right Thru Me," which premiered last night (October 27) on "106 & Park."

Nicki's no stranger to acting. She was part of the drama program at LaGuardia High School in New York. During the interview, when asked if she plans on making the jump to the big screen, the first lady of Young Money said the time isn't quite right.

Right now I wanna focus on touring," she told Terrence and Rocsi. "I mean, there's so many, forget the country, there's so many states I haven't even been to. I feel like I've neglected so many people like New Orleans, like, Minnesota. So, I wanna do every state, and I wanna do London. I wanna just do the countries, then I wanna focus on acting.

To be honest, I've been getting scripts, but I don't wanna be... I think it would be selfish for me to be part of a role right now and I can't really devote myself to that," she continued. "I know what my passion is right now and my passion is 'Pink Friday.'

In related news, word is Eminem is slated to appear on Nicki's album. According to Rap-Up.com, Em and Nick have recorded a song titled "Roman's Revenge" for Ms. Minaj's debut.
