'Zatima' Finale: Fake Fatima, A Funeral Gone Wrong, and a Bullet With Her Name on It?

Zac walks into a trap, Jeremiah brings chaos to his mother’s funeral, and Fatima might be in serious danger. The season ends with a bang—literally.

The Zatima season three finale picks up right where last week’s scandalous moment left off—Fatima catching Zac in bed with Leslie. The twist? Leslie is impersonating Fatima, and Zac, none the wiser, climbs right on top of her. Luckily for Leslie, Fatima keeps it cute and doesn’t go full Waiting to Exhale on her. Luckily for Zac, Fatima actually believes he was tricked. Leslie makes a quick exit, escaping completely unscathed. Growth!

After an entire season of build-up, we finally arrive at Ms. Gladys’ funeral. The pastor delivers a heartfelt sermon about the struggles of addiction and the importance of never giving up on healing, especially with faith. The choir follows up with a beautiful hymn, setting the tone for a peaceful service.

And then—Jeremiah happens.

Clearly high, Jeremiah makes a dramatic scene over the closed casket, demanding to see his mother one last time. Sensing a disaster in the making, Nate and Tony step in and drag him outside. In a surprising turn, Fatima joins them, helping to calm Jeremiah down.

Crisis averted? Not quite. They return inside just in time for Fatima’s solo—How Great Thou Art—which she delivers with the choir. For a moment, it seems like the service might stay on track.

But Jeremiah isn’t done yet. Another outburst pushes the pastor too far, leading to him outright calling Jeremiah a devil—yes, in the Lord’s house—before abruptly ending the service.

The gathering at Zac and Fatima’s house starts off on a peaceful note. People are bonding, tensions seem to be settling, and for a second, it looks like the drama is over.

Yeah… nope.

Jeremiah storms in with backup. Turns out, he’s in deep with some shady characters, and they’ve come to collect what he owes. Zac, Nate, and Tony aren’t having it and tell the goons to get lost. Just when it looks like they’re leaving peacefully, Jeremiah, ever the agent of chaos, throws a punch.

And then? All hell breaks loose.

A full-blown brawl erupts in the middle of the house. Just when it couldn’t get worse, one of the goons pulls out a gun and fires—in Fatima’s direction.

The last shot of the episode? Zac staring into the kitchen, where Fatima was standing moments ago—but now, she’s gone.

Did she get hit? Did she duck? Did she manage to escape before everything went south?

We won’t know until Zatima (hopefully) returns for a fourth season. Stay tuned.
