Whitney Houston's Last Recorded Song Released
The very last song recorded by music icon Whitney Houston was released today, reports TMZ. The celebrity gossip site obtained a copy of the song "Celebrate," intended for the soundtrack of her film project Sparkle, which the late songstress was working on at the time of her death in February.
"We ended the session dancing around the control room while she said, 'Turn it up! Turn it up!' She was so fun-loving," said song producer Harvey Mason Jr.
The movie, a remake of the 1976 classic featuring Irene Cara, is set for release in August. Houston plays the mother to Jordin Sparks' character.
As previously reported, Sparks performed a tear-jerking rendition of Houston's seminal song "I Will Always Love You" at last night's Billboard Music Awards.
