It was recently reported that Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood star A1 Bentley was robbed at gunpoint while streaming on Instagram Live using his estranged wife Lyrica Anderson's account. Since then, more details have emerged on who was allegedly behind the robbery.

However, aside from Anderson's tearful reaction to learning of the situation, she has remained mum, until now, as she was motivated to speak up after being accused of fabricating the dangerous situation for attention.

Anderson and Bentley, who both star in the Hollywood spin-off of the franchise, were accused by fans of faking the robbery for a story line on the reality show.

The singer quickly took to Twitter to debunk these rumors and defend her character.

"For ppl to be so ignorant and cruel to make jokes an [sic] think we'd stoop as low as a storyline to pretend getting robbed is ridiculous," she wrote. "Blaming Mona is becoming the oldest news of life! I'm not here to prove anything when I chose this occupation I knew my life would be public."

She then went on to thank those who sent words of encouragement to her following the incident.
