Ne-Yo Responds to Backlash After Saying He'll Perform at Trump Inauguration
Not so fast.
Ne-Yo made waves yesterday when he told TMZ's cameras that he'd definitely consider performing at Donald Trump's inauguration in January, but it seems like the public backlash against his comments forced him to clarify his stance.
The singer posted a message to Instagram on Saturday morning setting the record straight about his previous controversial comments, in which he said. "I wouldn't go because I support Donald Trump, I'd go because it's a dope party."
Now, Ne-Yo is backtracking but quick, even throwing the middle finger to the President Elect:
Just 'cause he isn't gonna perform doesn't change the fact that he said he would, but it's still good to know we didn't lose Ne-Yo to the dark side.
