Dinesh D'Souza Lashes Out at Obama in Racially Charged Tweet

Conservative is offended by POTUS's use of the selfie stick.

Conservative author and activist Dinesh D'Souza, who coined the term Obola to compare President Obama to the deadly Ebola virus, has established a new low in disrespecting the nation's commander-in-chief.

In a Wednesday morning tweet, D'Souza wrote a post criticizing the president for using a selfie stick during a video he did with BuzzFeed to encourage millennials to sign up for health care coverage.

"YOU CAN TAKE THE BOY OUT OF THE GHETTO...Watch this vulgar man show his stuff, while America cowers in embarrassment," he wrote.

After receiving some backlash, D'Souza sort of, kind of walked back on his original post and tweeted that he knows that the president wasn't "actually raised in a ghetto — I'm using the term metaphorically, to suggest his unpresidential conduct."

Or maybe, as more than one Twitter user suggested, D'Souza, who is serving five years of probation for violating campaign finance laws, is just racist.

But he's not the only one who lost it over the president's adventure in social media. A Minnesota newspaper, The Pioneer Press, recently apologized for calling Obama an "a**clown" in a caption of a slide picturing him with the selfie stick.

It also isn't the first time the president has been called out for taking a selfie, most famously after he and other world leaders posed for one during former South African President Nelson Mandela's memorial service.
