UPDATE:

ScHoolboy Q was riding in the SUV that was shot up after his performance in Denver last night, the Denver Post reports.

Authorities briefly handcuffed the 27-year-old rapper because the vehicle he was riding in fled the scene and didn't pull over immediately after police flashed their lights. ScHoolBoy was never arrested, nor is he a suspect in the shooting.

One of the three people injured by the gunfire has already been released from hospital care. None of the victims sustained life-threatening injuries.

A gunman has not yet been identified.

Schoolboy was detained after a triple shooting in the parking lot outside of his concert at the Red Rocks Amphitheare in Colorado late Thursday (June 20). He had just performed a show with Nas and Flying Lotus

Police found the injured around 11 p.m. and shut down the venue. The victims were discovered in a car at 6th Avenue and Kalamath Street. The car they were in, a white SUV, had driven away from the show, and then the cops were called. The victims were transported to Denver Health Medical Center. There were reportedly two more people inside the vehicle.

"We're trying to figure out what happened," Jefferson County Sherif's Office spokesman Mark Techmeyer said. A tweet from the office further clarified, "Red Rocks shooting occurred AFTER the concert, in the parking lot, not in the amphitheater. No one in custody. Park is closed. #JCSO"

Officers searched remaining cars on the premises; nearly two hours after the show there were still many people around.

"I'm backstage; we're on lockdown waiting to leave," said Faithon Lucas, the concert promoter. The event was a benefit for, among other causes, GRASP, a gang-rescue and support project sponsored by the Metro Denver Partners.
