Drake Sued over OVO Owl Chains

Jeweler says Drizzy knocked off the design.

Stylist Michael Raphael has taken further legal action against Drake. Raphael, who is already suing him over a delinquent clothing tab, has a new accounting beef with the OVO head — this time over a chain.

According to TMZ, Baden Baden Inc., a jewelry company owned by Raphael, filed a copyright infringement lawsuit against Drake claiming he duplicated a $50,000 owl pendant and passed out the knockoffs to his friends.

The company says they were hired to make the $49,204 diamond-encrusted platinum chain in January. Six months later, photos of gold versions of the jewelry popped up on the "All Me" rapper's Instagram page, leading them to believe that he went the cheap route instead of placing another order. Baden Baden is suing for unspecified damages and possession of the fake pieces.

Drake hired Raphael as a stylist last August and allegedly still owes him $76,490 to cover a monthly consulting fee and expenses.

The Grammy winner has not publicly addressed either of the lawsuits.
