Gospel singer Tasha Cobbs Leonard is one of the most talented and rightfully successful names in the business. With the release of several projects, including her Grammy Award-winning album Grace, and credits on other hit songs, Tasha has earned her spot among the greats. Kierra Sheard — “Something Has to Break” feat. Tasha Cobbs Leonard
Frequent collaborators Kierra Sheard and Tasha teamed up for this remarkable record, “Something Has to Break,” from the former’s self-titled sixth studio album Kierra. The track peaked at no. five on the Gospel charts and earned the ladies’ a GMA Dove award for “Gospel Worship Recorded Song of the Year” in 2020.
“Break Every Chain ”
“Break Every Chain” was the lead single from Tasha’s 2013 debut studio album, Grace. The song was written by Will Reagan and produced by VaShawn Mitchell. In 2014, the Gospel singer earned several recognitions, including two Grammy nominations, one of which she won for “Best Gospel/Contemporary Christian Music Performance.”
“This Is a Move”
Tasha released “This Is a Move” in 2020, and it became a commercial success debuting at no. four on Billboard’s Hot Gospel Songs chart. The songbird earned a Grammy Award nomination for “Best Gospel Performance/Song” and a Stellar Award nomination for “Song of the Year.”
