Russell Wilson has quickly built a reputation as being a stand-up guy since getting married to Ciara, but the social media community gave the NFL star a major side-eye after he told his wife's BFF to sit on his lap during a Facebook Live stream.

On International Women's Day, the NFL star, while speaking to his followers about the importance of empowering women, asked Yolanda Frederick to sit on his lap and share some advice with the people watching. He put his arm around her waist while she sat on his lap and said, "Give these young women and older women and young girls some advice on being a woman of empowerment and love." Seems harmless, right?
