In a recent episode, Ciara was astonished to discover her connection to baseball all-star Derek Jeter as she perused her list of relatives, sparking excitement.

“You are kidding me!” she said. “Derek Jeter!”

“Ciara and Derek share a long identical stretch of DNA on their 14th chromosome DNA which we know Derek inherited from his mother,” the narrator said.

That's going to be one amazing family reunion!
