The worldwide premiere of Disney's The Little Mermaid is just over two weeks away. But, last night, fans were treated to the Los Angeles red carpet as A-listers saw the movie for the first time.

Halle Bailey who stars in the live-action remake as Ariel was an absolute dream on the red carpet wearing a stunning liquid dress by Valdrin Sahiti that gave the perfect mermaid effect.

According to Glamour, the dress's metallic blue fabric glimmered against the flashing lights of paparazzi cameras. It featured shell-shaped detailing at the bust that completed the oceanic princess aesthetic. The 23-year-old songbird finished the look with ice-blue eyeshadow, a bedazzled manicure, and long auburn locs similar to the ones she wears in the film as Ariel.

For accessories, she wore several blingy rings and statement diamond earrings.

On the red carpet, Halle's big sister Chlöe Bailey held one of The Little Mermaid dolls designed in her sister's image and called it "the physical representation of dreams coming true."

There was no shortage of stars on the red carpet, Offset brought his two daughters out to see the film. The family was all dressed in black and white and smiling; another image shows the youngest--Kulture hugging Halle Bailey inside the theater.

Halle seems to recognize how important representation is in the film

“It means the world to me, especially for the beautiful babies to be able to see a reflection of themselves,” Bailey said on the red carpet, per Deadline. “I am just honored to be a part of this and be one of the princesses now because for me it was Brandi as Cinderella and then Anika Rose as Princess Tiana. So the fact that I am getting to continue this and live on this legacy is really exciting and I’m just grateful.”
