Former Crime Mob MC Diamond is ready for her close up, and she didn't have to think twice. She's accepted an offer to star in a new Oxygen reality show, Sisterhood of Hip Hop, produced by her mentors Tiny and T.I.

"When her and Tip brought it to me, it was a no-brainer," said the 25-year-old rapper who introduced herself to the nation with one of the crunkest verses of all time on 2004's "Knuck If You Buck."

Sisterhood will star Diamond along with fellow femcees Nyemiah Supreme, Siya, Bia and Brianna Perry, and D is looking forward to finally letting the public inside of her world after cultivating a ten-year career of being guarded. "I've been private my whole career," she told BET.com. "I was 14, 15 when I started, and from the gate, I was famous, [so] I had no privacy."

Her and Tiny's friendship is what made her feel comfortable opening up for the cameras. "Tiny and Tip have always been a big sister and big brother, forever. I'm talkin' 'bout going to baby showers, personal type things that aren't publicized… [Tiny's] always been a really good mentor to me, a sweetheart, very loyal, humble, always pushing me to do better… I admire everything about her."

Diamond knows that following in Tiny's footsteps will expose her to new levels of public ridicule, however, she's still excited for fans to learn about her journey. "We all understand it's some things you have to give up in order to be in this industry. You have to have tough skin. ... I've been doing this ten years. I have experience. I have so much more to learn, but I have so much that I can teach and share with others," she reasoned.

Her co-stars included. "That was my first time meeting everybody," she said. "We have differences ... but the one thing that we all have in common is the love that we have for music."

Actually, there's more. Diamond also connected on a personal level with her castmates. "Bia, Pharrell's artist, she was hit by a drunk driver in a motorcycle accident a year or so ago. My father was victimized by a drunk driver, he was a police officer at the time," she said.

"I just want people to get a chance to see a close shot of me," said Diamond of her truest intentions. "When people meet me, they like, 'Oh my gosh! You're so much cooler in person.' That makes me feel good. I hope everybody gets a chance to get that same feeling, and I'ma be me the best that I can. That's the only thing you can do is be you. If people don't like it, oh well."
