Rapper 21 Savage Mourns The Death of His Brother, Drill Rapper TM1way
21 Savage is mourning the death of his younger brother who was killed in a stabbing in London.
Daily News reports that 27-year-old Terrell Davis — who was also a drill rapper named TM1way — was stabbed to death on a London estate after getting into an argument with an old friend. He had, reportedly, been bringing groceries to his grandmother in Brixton when the assailant approached him.
21 Savage took to Instagram after the news broke to pay respects to his late brother. He shared older pictures of the two as well as a picture of his brother as an adult. He captioned the post with “can’t believe somebody took you baby bro I know I took my anger out on you I wish I could take that shit back.”
21 Savage and Davis shared the same father. According to Daily Mail, a source revealed that the brothers used to speak on the phone frequently but had not been able to see each other. Unfortunately, the “Runnin” rapper’s immigration issues here in the United States prevented him from traveling back to Great Britain to visit his loved one. In February 2019, he was arrested by US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) for unlawfully overstaying his visa as a UK citizen. While he was released and his hearing was postponed indefinitely, travel internationally has been a challenge. This year’s global pandemic added to the Grammy award-winner’s travel woes.
Kyra Davis, 21 Savage’s sister, also wrote a tribute to her brother on social media, "I don't even know what to say. My heart is in pieces. I love you more than words can say. Rest in perfect peace Terrell."
