Guess what? Here is another unexpected collaboration! This may seem a little random, but Gucci Mane x Reebok! I present the Guwops!

Sneakerheads, I know you guys are getting overwhelmed by trying to keep up with these so and so x so and so collabs, but I got one more for you that just dropped a couple of hours ago. Gucci Mane, aka Mr. Ice Cream Man, shared on his IG his latest signature work with Rebook using the caption, “The #ReebokGuwops brrrr.”

Now, besides the fact that he is helping pop culture breathe life back into Reebok after their popularity died off in the '90s, the most interesting part of the shoes are the gigantic ice cream cone pendants!

I am excited to stroll through Harlem on my way home and see all my fellow hood neighbors sitting on their stoops with their shiny ice cream cone sneakers.

Why the random ice cream cones? To my readers who are not familiar with the famed rapper, there is a purpose! Trust me! Ice cream cones represent his signature logo, which is tatted on his face. The “10” and “17” on the back of the sneakers represent his grandfather’s address and a shout out to his label, 1017 Records. 

The shoes drop on October 17. So far the "hot or nah" verdict is still out on them! Yeah, I checked out the comments out of curiosity.

Honestly, from someone who loves sneakers in general, chill! Right now, any new sneaker you see out on the market is going to look like the next. Remember the new Yeezys that dropped a couple of weeks ago that quickly reminded fans of Costco? So dare to be different! They remind me of the old Allen Iverson sneakers. They will sell!

Gucci Mane also revealed on Instagram that he would serve as a face for Reebok Classics alongside Rae Sremmurd and Machine Gun Kelly.

Gucci Mane and fiancée Keyshia Ka’oir's new show, Gucci Mane & Keyshia Ka'oir: The Mane Event, will be premiering on October 17, 2017, on BET. 

The couple will document their lives as they prepare for their star-studded wedding on October 17. I wonder if he'll be walking down the aisle in his new shoes. The price as of now for the icy dad sneaks is unknown, but the sneaker itself is definitely #gucci!
