Chaos Unraveled: A Tumultuous Episode of ‘The Oval’ Explained

From railing falls in the White House to overdose emergencies and surprise confrontations, the season premiere of ‘The Oval’ takes viewers on a whirlwind of drama, betrayal, and unexpected twists.

The last season of The Oval ended with a lot of drama. It was wild, and it’s going to get worse. Let’s get you caught back up in this wild world. The episode starts with Simone and Victoria on the ground after they go over a railing in the White House while fighting because Simone knows about Victoria and her husband, the VP. They’re not hurt as they continue to fight while on the ground, amid the Secret Service breaking them up. Victoria Franklin then demands that they lock Simone up in the presidential bunker, and that’s what they do.

Then Victoria goes to Hunter’s office and finds him passed out from an overdose of some drugs that are laced with fentanyl. Naturally, Victoria blames Alonzo, the secret service agent, for this, and she’s not wrong. Last season, he stole the drugs from Kareem’s pharmacy. Hunter is in critical condition for now.

Wedding Wars and Historical Heroes: Drama and Redemption on 'House of Payne'

Donald finds his lover in bed, shot up by the former cop obsessed with Lilly. He calls Kyle to handle it, then gets the call from Victoria that he needs to head to the White House. The VP finally notices his wife is missing and calls Victoria. She explains what went down but won’t tell him where Simone is and that he has to see her face-to-face for more details. Here, the president being incapacitated means that the VP is the interim president. That pleases the VP, but he and Victoria know they must tie up their loose ends — their spouses.

Meanwhile, everyone is still looking for Jason, not realizing he’s about to reside with the Rakadushi’s. Fun times ahead. But wait. There’s more catastrophe coming. Nancy unsuccessfully tried to hang herself in a Rakadushi drug-induced haze last season. So now we find Richard at the hospital checking on her. She doesn’t remember anything but Richard explains what happened. Then, a doctor comes in and asks if she can remember what happened, and she says Richard choked her. Deep sigh. This woman has caused Richard a lot of drama, including getting her granddaughter kidnapped, and he really gotta let her go. Anyway, we’ll get back to this next week.

The episode winds down with Priscilla stopping by Bobby’s place for their date. Remember,  Priscilla is doing this to get revenge against Sam since he cheated on her with the first lady. However, Priscilla can’t go through with it, and Bobby doesn’t get the drawls after all. Disappointed, Bobby walks her out of his hotel room but is stopped in his tracks by Sam on the other side of the door in a jealous rage. He shoots Bobby, and that’s where we end the episode.
