Columbus Short Angers Judge, Once Again a No-Show in Court
Columbus Short won't be getting a warm welcome when he returns to the US from Barbados this week. The former Scandal star is facing arrest for being a no-show in family court for the third time in a row to face charges of domestic violence, TMZ reports.
Short has been hiding out in the Carribbean island since last month, when he blew off a hearing and told his fans in Barbados that he intended to stay despite his legal obligations in the US. Now the judge presiding over Short's case is so angry, he's called for the actor's arrest upon landing in the US and has increased his bail from $40,000 to $500,000.
The troubled star is not only facing domestic violence charges brought on by his ex-wife Tanee McCall-Short, but also battery charges from the man he left bloodied and unconscious following a bar fight last year. Short is due back in the US any day now and will have to face the music.
