The actor is set to star in new Comedy Central pilot.

The television comedy world just gained a black jack.

Actor Ving Rhames will portray the title character, Black Jack, in Comedy Central’s new, single camera comedy. The show centers on a 20-year US government special ops agent who goes too far and gets de-commissioned.

Rhames, best known for his work in the feature films Baby Boy, Holiday Heart and Pulp Fiction, previously played lead roles in televison in the reboot of 2005's Kojak and as legendary boxing promoter Don King in the 1997 HBO movie Only In America.
