Find Out Why Dwyane Wade's Ex-Wife Wants a New Divorce Settlement

It's all about the Benjamins.

They were high school sweethearts, but after getting married back in 2002, Dwyane Wade and Siohvaughn Funches split in 2010. Now, years later, Funches is asking a judge to re-open their settlement in light of the Chicago Bulls guard's new $45 million contract.

According to the Chicago Tribune, Funches wants a Cook County judge to toss her settlement agreement with the baller and be rewarded a larger amount. She claims her former divorce lawyer, Brian Hurst, agreed to the initial $5 million-plus settlement without her knowledge and is now, subsequently, suing him for malpractice.

While a judge did throw out her lawsuit on Friday, she was instead offered the opportunity to file an amend lawsuit. Her current attorney, Thomas Gooch, agrees with the decision, saying she "absolutely" intends to take it.
