On Tuesday, Michael was officially adopted, and you could say he was a little excited
Dezhianna and her sister (who goes by Jordae on Twitter) were there to photograph the iconic moment with their new baby bro
“He was so excited on the day,” Dezhianna told Buzzfeed News. “I don’t think he truly understood what being adopted meant. He just knew he was being adopted.”

Michael first joined the family, whose name is also Brown, back in February of 2015
Dezhianna told Buzzfeed that their family was Michael’s third foster family, and his case plan changed from reuniting him with his mom to severance and adoption.
As soon as Dezhianna posted the photos from the adoption to Twitter, tears fell across America
