Kendrick Lamar and Khalil Joseph's mini flick, m.A.A.d, will debut at the Los Angeles Museum of Contemporary Art next year, XXL reports. The 14-minute short, inspired by Lamar’s Grammy-nominated good k.i.d, m.A.A.d city release, will run from March 21, 2015, through July 27, 2015.

Lamar and Joseph’s collaboration is a “lush portrait of contemporary Los Angeles” accompanied by the 28-year-old rapper’s major label debut as its soundtrack.

“From barbershops to marching bands, from homeboys drinking in the streets to the iconic carpet of shimmering lights, the camera in m.A.A.d sinuously glides through predominantly African American neighborhoods in Los Angeles catching a dizzying array of quotidian moments suffused with creativity, joy, and sadness,” reads a decription on the MOCA website.

The film originally debuted at the Sundance Next FEST this past August.
