President Joe Biden Draws Criticism for Forgetting LL Cool J's Name, Referring to Him as 'Boy'
President Joe Biden drew criticisms after seemingly forgetting rapper LL Cool J's name and calling him “that boy” during his weekend speech at the Congressional Black Caucus Phoenix Awards.
“Two of the greatest artists of our time, representing the groundbreaking legacy of Hip Hop in America,” Biden began. “LL Jay Cool J…uh…by the way, that boy, uh, that man’s got bigger biceps than my thighs.”

Black Twitter quickly reacted to the incident. While some considered President Biden's advanced age of 80, others showed less compassion. One X/Twitter user looked at the president's cognitive state writing, ”His mind doesn’t know where it wants to be right now.”
It's worth mentioning that the “Luv U Better” rapper has collaborated with the Biden administration in the past. Last December, the 55-year-old industry veteran, whose real name is James Todd Smith, had a unique opportunity to light the National Christmas Tree alongside Biden and First Lady Jill Biden.
