See How KimYe Won Christmas With A $500K Winterland Party That Made It Snow In LA
Leave it to the Kardashian-West family to throw a holiday party to remember!
While many of us didn't get to enjoy a snowy Christmas Eve this season, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West made it snow outside their $60 million LA mansion—no, like seriously!
Spending a whopping $500K, you can best believe the party was luxe with a snow machine, food for 200 guests, a churro cart, a performance by John Legend, and massive security!
Hosted by Kim's mom, Kris Jenner, the annual Christmas Eve party at the couple's California home was amazing, with the entire outside of the mansion being turned into a stunning TV-worthy Winter Wonderland!
With cameras rolling for the next season of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, the celebrity attendee list was long with entire the KarJenner camp (and their children) in attendance along with Jennifer Lopez, Alex Rodriquez, Dave Chappelle, Paris Hilton, Kimora Lee Simmons, Ming Lee Simmons, and more!
Planned to perfection by Mindy Weiss, not a corner was cut making the event luxurious with festive white décor everywhere and plenty of places for photo ops.
“The party needs to be eye-popping because it sets the tone for their empire, it creates a fantasy world and makes people want to tune in, so $500,000 is nothing for them,” a source shared with the Daily Mail. “The grand spectacle of the party also helps sell Kylie's makeup, Kim's perfumes, and Khloe's jeans. It's all about image.”
With endless photos and videos posted on social media, the event had us all talking. Mission accomplished!
So what was the vision for this year? “The direction was a dreamy look with no red and green,” the source shared. “Last year, Kris went heavy on red and green in her home. But this year it was at Kim and Kanye's place, which is all-white everywhere, so they wanted the decorations to be white too.”
With a full buffet from Bruce Hecker and plenty of sweets from top bakeries, including a Churro cart, attendees clearly enjoyed themselves as they jammed to live music by John Legend.
The biggest expense of the night? Creating the perfect snowy environment for attendees to go sledding in the backyard.
See all the fun for yourself! Even 'Ye got involved!
“It was also said that Kanye wanted it to be especially over the top for his three kids. He wanted it to look unreal,” the source shared.
Continuing the fun, photo booths were everywhere! As the night continued, even Santa Claus made an appearance.
Nope. Sorry, Grinch. Even you couldn’t stop the fun! Talk about goals!
