Report: Janet Jackson Puts Tour on Hold to Be With Her Father
Janet Jackson's fans may have to wait a little longer to see their fave artist live, but it's all for good reason. Entertainment Tonight reports that the pop icon is reportedly putting her touring plans on hold to be with her father, Joe Jackson, who recently suffered a stroke over the weekend.
The "No Sleeep" songstress is set to begin her Unbreakable World Tour on Aug. 31, but has reportedly already made plans to be by her dad's side until he is in a more stable state.
Janet's brother, Jermaine, recently filled fans in on their father's progress via Twitter and thanked them for their support.
Miss Jackson recently debuted the J. Cole-assisted music video for "No Sleeep," the first single from her highly anticipated comeback album.
Get well soon, Mr. Jackson.
