Chicago Gun Violence: 4 Dead, 18 Injured This Past Weekend

The first weekend of spring in Chicago ended with four killings and 18 injuries from gun violence that began Friday afternoon, according to the Chicago Sun-Times.

The first weekend of spring in Chicago ended with four killings and 18 injuries from gun violence that began Friday afternoon, according to the Chicago Sun-Times.
The most recent victim was a 21-year-old man who died Sunday evening in the Ravenswood neighborhood. He was shot in the head and taken to a nearby medical center, where he was later pronounced dead, according to Chicago Tribune.
On Sunday morning, a 23-year-old woman named Delia Colunga was killed in the East Side neighborhood. She was riding in the passenger’s seat of a car when her attacker, who was in the vehicle behind her, opened fire. She was struck in the head and taken to the hospital and pronounced dead Sunday morning, the Sun-Times reports.
Alexander Colon, 30, was fatally shot in the chest Saturday afternoon in the Auburn Gresham neighborhood. According to police, he was found lying on the back porch of his home, where he was pronounced dead. 

The earliest victim was Terrell Foster, 21, who was killed Friday in a shooting. He was standing on the street, when a gunman opened fire on Foster. He was pronounced dead at the scene, the Tribune reports.
In Chicago, there have been 64 people killed because of gun violence so far in 2015, according to Red Eye Chicago homicide tracker.
