Queen Latifah Inspires In Trailer For Netflix Basketball Drama ‘Hustle’

Adam Sandler has been tapped to co-star in the film.

In the first trailer for Hustle, Queen Latifah plays Teresa, the wife of Philadelphia 76ers basketball scout Stanley Sugerman (Adam Sandler) who dreams of being an NBA coach.

Stanley, however, finds himself constantly traveling the globe in search of the next unknown phenom prospect, which keeps him away from his family for long periods of time.

“So you’re just going to give up on your dream?” Latifah asks as Stanley questions his career path.

While on the road, Stanley eventually discovers a streetball player with a tough background, Bo Cruz (portrayed by real-life NBA player Juancho Hernangómez), in Spain. The pair soon bond over a shared passion for the sport and their families.

In another scene, Latifah and Sandler’s characters discuss his ambitions. "Being the guy who finds the guy matters in this business. I just wanna make sure I do what's right for the kid," Stanley says. "He's got a daughter to support."

Teresa (Latifah) replies back sternly, "You got a daughter to support."

Hustle debuts on Netflix June 8. Watch the full trailer, premiered by PEOPLE, below.
