Pusha T Talks About G.O.O.D. Music Debut
Pusha T, one half of the critically acclaimed rap duo the Clipse, is not wasting any time. In an interview with allhiphop.com, the rapper says he's already recorded close to six songs for his upcoming solo debut, the first release for him on the Kanye West-helmed G.O.O.D. Music record label.
"Me and Kanye have been in [the studio] and we’ve done a good five or six records, and we’ve left them alone," he said. "Then we’re gonna revisit it. We’re about to go to Chile, actually this week sometime, and we’ll probably do a show and just revisit some of the records." No date for the album has been announced yet.
Since his signing to Kanye's label, hip hop heads have been anxiously waiting to hear Pusha's new material. The rapper has kept up his momentum by releasing his Fear Of God mixtape last week. Says Pusha, "The dope part about G.O.O.D. Music is that everybody has a lane. Like ever-y-body has a lane."
Let's see how he plays his.
