The LOX Make A Case For Why André 3000 Should Return To Rapping
The LOX are apparently thinking what every Hip-Hop fan is thinking.
During an interview with “The Breakfast Club” this week, the Yonkers, New York group (minus Jadakiss) were asked about André 3000, particularly about the lack of rapping on his new album “New Blue Sun.” Their response was basically what you’d expect it to be.
“Nah, so much to talk about Dre,” Sheek Louch said. “It’s a lot, man. Just how you word it and put it. You don’t gotta — of course we not talking about being in the hallways or trapping and all that too much but it’s a lot. Let us know what you been going through.”
André 3000 Initially Had This Name For His Flute Album
Styles P added: “Rap about his travels. He’s one of the greatest to ever do it. He could’ve rapped over the flute beats. Straight up. I think rapping about what is he gonna rap about is a good point-of-view. It gives different people different perspectives.”
The LOX are particularly qualified to weigh in on the topic considering they’re all over 40 and still delivering quality bars, while age is one of the primary factors 3 Stacks says is keeping him from wanting to rap consistently again. All three LOX members have released a ton of music after 40.
