Man Accused Of Finding Ex’s New Boyfriend, Cutting Off His Penis, And Carving Initials In His Leg
A Florida man has been arrested after allegedly tracking down his ex-girlfriend’s new man in Chicago and cutting off his penis.
Justin Foster, 28, flew from Tallahassee to the Chicago area in August to confront his ex’s new partner, the Chicago Tribune reports.
According to prosecutors, Foster saw the victim, who has not been identified, on the street. He then approached the man, hit him in the head with a tire iron, carved initials into his leg and then cut off his penis, said prosecutors.
After the attack, the victim was found by someone else and transported to an area hospital. Officials say the victim also suffered from permanent brain damage.
The victim was taken to Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge and then transferred to Northwestern University Hospital in Chicago for treatment of life-threatening injuries.
He was released several months later.
Foster then flew back to Tallahassee, where he was arrested on Aug. 27. Last month, the suspect was brought back to Chicago for arraignment.
After being held with no bond, a judge granted Foster a $1 million bond Thursday, allowing him to be released while awaiting trial.
