Tasha K Files for Bankruptcy After Being Ordered to Pay Cardi B $4M
Tasha K may have just thrown a wrench in Cardi B.’s quest to collect the $4 million owed to her after the blogger filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy claiming she has less than 60,000 in total assets.
According to Billboard, Tasha, who spent the better portion of a year making light of her $3,868,753.47 bill owed to the Grammy Award winner, stated in her filings that her assets only total out to $58,595. This amount includes a 2021 Chevrolet Silverado that’s collateral, two Louis Vuitton purses, and a reported $95 in her bank account, and her “UnWineWithTashaK” YouTube channel although its current monetary value is listed as “unknown.”
As some may know, in 2018 Tasha, born Latasha Kebe, unknowingly kickstarted one of the most expensive lawsuits of her media career when she published a blog post falsely claiming Cardi abused drugs and was living with an incurable sexually transmitted disease. The following year the “WAP” emcee filed a defamation suit and won.
Tasha appealed the decision last March 2023, but lost yet again. She ultimately drew “the white flag” and apologized to Cardi on Twitter writing, “What happened will never happen again. To Cardi [and] her team, I apologize sincere. We live and learn.”
