When President Obama is a fan of your music, an honor J. Cole and Kendrick Lamar both hold, it’s one thing. However, musicians across the U.S. have been letting it known that it is completely unacceptable for presidential candidate Donald Trump to play their music at rallies. 

House of Pain rapper Everlast has threatened hitting Trump with a cease and desist order for playing the group's 1992 hit single “Jump Around” on the campaign trail.

"The smartest businessman in the world should know that you have to license this music if it makes an appearance on TV with you, and they're making appearances on TV — so you're a moron,” Everlast, real name Erik Schrody, told Rolling Stone. 

While calling him a “f**king racist piece of s**t,” Schrody went on to say that his campaign playing “Jump Around” — which is notably one of the biggest hip-hop songs by white artists — is mainly a weak attempt to cater to hip-hop fans. The rapper went on to say that using the song is to “create inroads to people’s demographic cubbyholes, so they can be like ‘Yeah, we’re down with hip-hop. Yeah we’re f**king cool.’”

And in case anyone is unclear how Everlast feels about the candidate, he continued saying, “I’ll smack that f**ker's combover right off his f**king scalp.” 

“This man is going to ruin this country single-handedly. Just the fact that he [could be] president is going to get us shunned by the world,” Schrody concluded.

Unfortunately, he won’t be suing Trump for using his song because that would be a “scumbag Donald Trump move.”

T.I. also recently spoke about his distaste for Trump, saying any fan of Trump’s is not a fan of his.
