Kelly Rowland Slams Rumors That She's Been Bleaching Her Skin
A bizarre rumor has started about legendary soulstress Kelly Rowland bleaching her breathtaking melanin. Yeah, we know what you're thinking— wait, what? Recently, the "Motivation" singer launched her collaboration with Smoke x Mirrors eyewear. However, in the promo images, many of her fans thought she seemed lighter than usual.
Her comments were flooded with insane allegations about her "wanting to be white" and questioning "where did the chocolate go?"

Out of her norm, Ms. Kelly put all the trolls in their place by speaking out via her Instastory
"I am not the one to bleach my skin, nor do I want to bleach my skin, nor do I have to bleach my skin," she curtly said. "Don't go saying stupid stuff like that. Have you ever thought it could be the lighting?" essentially saying what most would've immediately assumed.
"Dude, I am still chocolate. Forever chocolate. Proud to be chocolate. Shout out to all my chocolate girls," she continued, smiling and raising her fist.
She even just had a profile on The Atlantic about how in love she is with her complexion and how it was Ms. Tina Knowles-Lawson who reminded her that "it’s amazing to be Black; it’s amazing to be chocolate."
