Kandi Burruss To Leave 'Real Housewives of Atlanta' If Phaedra Parks Returns
Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kandi Burruss has made it clear that chances of seeing her and former castmate Phaedra Parks share a screen is less than likely to happen.
During an appearance on the It's Tricky with Raquel Harper podcast, the 45-year-old was asked, “if they brought Phaedra back, would you be on the show,” to which the Grammy Award-winning artist quickly answered “No.” The question comes after rumors started to spread that Phaedra was purportedly making a return to the popular series.
The Bravo star continued, “I just don’t think that she and I need to interact. You know what I mean,” before adding, “I let her do her thing, and when they decide to do that, then, you know.”
The interviewer interjected and said, “Okay, then you’d be like, I’m out of here. Nice knowing y’all. You gotta choose.” Kandi explained, “it’s not even about nobody making a choice because she’s other shows or whatever.” When asked if the situation was fixable, the actress replied, “No, it’s not fixable. No.”
As viewers of the show may remember, Phaedra left the franchise after six seasons in 2017 after she admitted during the season 9 reunion that she lied about Kandi and her husband Todd Tucker's alleged plan to date rape former castmate Porsha Williams.
