The internet has been going ham since Drake and Taylor Swift were spotted enjoying the 6 God's 30th birthday recently, igniting all sorts of rumors the unlikely pair were a romantic item.

While a flood of Rihanna memes immediately dismissed such claims in a hilarious fashion, another explanation behind the dating rumors has surfaced.

As reported, a source at E! News is claiming that the recent partnership is not a romantic one and is instead strictly business, with the two allegedly working on music together.

With many joking that, if the two were dating, each would drop the most fire breakup album immediately after things went sour, perhaps T-Swift and Drizzy decided to skip the formalities of actually dating and dive directly into their feels by way of a new collaboration.

According to the insider, "They've both been having a great time in the studio" and the "music they have been working on is different [but] catchy."

Considering Taylor Swift was the highest paid female in music in 2016 and Drake's career is hitting all sorts of impressive milestones, the two working on music together would arguably make a heck of a lot more sense than the pair dating.
