Amber Rose’s past relationships with men are pretty well-known to the public, or at least the names are familiar.

The model and businesswoman has dated Kanye West, Machine Gun Kelly and 21 Savage and was formerly married to Wiz Khalifa. What happened during these relationships are not known for the most part by most people.

During an interview with Peter Rosenberg for Complex’s Open Late show, Rose detailed how she was a victim of abuse from former lovers.

"I always felt like I was a strong woman," she said, after revealing that she needed therapist to talk through her issues. That therapist told her that the abuse she was experiencing was equivalent to being "beat up every day."

Prior to the shocking revelation, Amber says that she was told that she attracts “narcissistic sociopaths.”

“I had to go see a therapist, and she was just like, ‘You attract narcissistic sociopaths.’ And I’m not mentioning no names. But a few of them have been that,” she explained. “Like, nah, you’re not gonna control my every move, you’re not gonna tell me what I need to wear, you’re not gonna tell me where I need to go or who to be friends with. I don’t have time for that s**t.”

Also during the interview, Amber Rose says she’s glad she was able to “take the punches” for women like Blac Chyna and Cardi B, who transformed from strippers to becoming very wealthy business women. She also gave Rosenberg a small tour of the artwork in her home.
