Five Olympians Who Should Join 'College Hill: Celebrity Edition'

Nick “Swaggy P” Young is the “College Hill: Celebrity Edition” resident athlete this season. He has had his share of tension with some other castmates, but for the most part, he is trying to be as focused as possible, and he wants to complete his certificate at Xavier University in New Orleans. So far, he is the third athlete to join the show (making it one per season thus far, and from the NBA), and proves the point that we should see more on the show in the future, especially because they tend to be competitive and don’t back down from a fight. With the Olympics in full swing, here’s a list of five athletes who would be a good addition to “Celebrity College Hill” in future seasons if they can find some free time after going for the gold.

Jordan Chiles - Gymnastics

Chiles has been one to watch for her phenomenal floor and bar routines in gymnastics over the past few years. She helped the US team win a silver medal at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics and is headed back this summer to go for the gold with one of her idols, Simone Biles. Before going pro, she was a UCLA Bruins gymnastics team member but left school to pursue her career. That has been fruitful thus far, but her energy on “College Hill: Celebrity Edition” would be unmatched.

Sha’ Carri Richardson - Track and Field

We all know this pint-size feisty sprinting for breaking records. She turned pro in 2019 after leaving Louisiana State University and has broken records in track, including becoming the fastest woman in the world as of last year. She’s headed to the Paris Olympics to show the world that she is nothing to be played with and will probably be busy afterward with endorsements and whatever else she will have going on. However, if it's on a reality show, she might consider returning to college after leaving. We know that athletes are competitive, but based on what we’ve seen from her thus far, it wouldn’t be far-fetched to believe that she might be the problem child. You know, there’s always one in every season who doesn’t come to class like that because they want to do their own thing (stares in Saucy Santana and Ray J).

Noah Lyles - Track and Field

Lyles is just as boasty as Sha’Carri Richardson and for good reason. The sprinter is currently the fastest man in the world, and he’s ready to compete with the other world-class athletes at the Olympics. He could also compete on College Hill. He also has the type of personality that would be entertaining to watch and that you will probably never know how it will go as long as he is in control of propagating the shenanigans.

Naomi Osaka - Tennis

We all know Naomi Osaka. For years, the new mom made headlines for being an extraordinary tennis player. However, she really made waves when she decided to step away from the sport to take care of her mental health. She wasn’t playing her best and needed to address some of the shortcomings in her life that were causing her to not be her best. At the 2020 Olympics, she became the first tennis player to light the cauldron. Lately, she has been focusing on motherhood and entrepreneurship. She has also left the door open for a return to tennis, and while she seems to be mostly private, she could be a contender for College Hill: Celebrity edition in the future. She’d bring a quiet fierceness that would probably make her a good student.

Sophia Smith - Soccer

The Soccer Forward played soccer for two seasons at Stanford University, where she helped her team secure the 2019 NCAA Championship. She left school to turn pro and is headed to Paris this summer. She would be a laid-back addition to the hypothetical cast, but every reality show needs at least one chill individual to help keep the energy grounded.
