Sources Say L.A. Reid Doesn't Want "Ugly People" at Epic \r

"New York Post" claims that the new CEO of Epic Records only wants good looking people working for him.

Say it in your best Kanye West voice: L.A. Reid does not care about ugly people. At least that's what the New York Post's Page Six column is reporting. Reid, who just took over the CEO spot at Epic Records, apparently wants to keep his staff looking good, or better yet, keep the good-looking staff.

"I don't want no ugly people working here; I only want good-looking people," L.A. Reid supposedly said in one of his first staff meetings. The source also claimed that while employees were anxious to hear Reid's vision for the label, the music executive was more concerned with "keeping it sexy."

In addition to his new role at Epic, Reid is also soon to be a judge on The X Factor. One industry insider said that being in front of the camera will interfere with his job. "He's incredibly difficult, and many people are worried about what will happen when he starts on the judging panel for The X Factor."

While a representative for Reid declined to comment, one source for Reid told the Post that the ugly comments were "completely made up." "There is no way he said that."
