Halle Berry Explains Why Her Son Won't Be Watching Her New Film

The actor says this scary movie is one that the 10-year-old will have to sit out.

Halle Berry is a mom who knows what's best.

The Oscar-winner currently stars in the new horror film "Never Let Go," but she's standing by her decision not to allow her son Maceo-Robert, 10,alone to see it, as cited by Extra. According to the proud mom, she believes the film might frighten the socks off of Maceo.

“My 16-year-old [daughter], yeah," she noted, but for him, it's a solid "No."

"My son would have nightmares for a very long time, so no," she explained.

She also discussed a past moment when Maceo was too spooked to sleep alone.

"I mean, he saw a trailer of, like, a scary movie, and it took us a year to get him to go to bed by himself, so he won’t be seeing it.”

When asked what she "would never let go" she shared, “My kids… I learned that from this movie. My children are my most valued treasures.”
