Based on a true story, Hurricane Season follows the transformation of a team whose future was uncertain until one man made it possible. Set in Louisiana after Hurricane Katrina, Al Collins (Forest Whitaker) is a high school basketball coach for the John Ehret Patriots, looking to turn around their dismal season. Working against him is a city ravaged by the aftermath of the disaster, and a team whose personal lives have all been equally damaged because of it.
