Moneybagg Yo Shares Photos With Denzel Washington: ‘I Let ‘Em Rock Da AP'
Moneybagg Yo has officially made it.
On Saturday (March 9), the Memphis rapper took to social media to share with the world that he had lunch with Academy-Award-winning actor Denzel Washington, Complex reports.
In the caption of the photo that the CMG rapper shared on Instagram, Moneybagg Yo bragged about letting Washington wear his Audemars Piguet watch.
“You [ninja emoji] Aint Having Lunch Wit Denzel, Stop It!,” the caption read. “Psa: I Let Em Rock Da AP He Said Its Time To Feed Da Streets .”
Although it’s unclear why the two were meeting, the meeting was one that neither Moneybagg nor Washington will soon forget.

On the music side, Moneybagg Yo dropped “Hard To Love” last summer. Since then, along with other CMG artists, such as Fivio Foreign, Sexyy Red, Gloss Up, and BIG30, he’s been performing on the label’s Gangsta Art Tour.
As for Washington, it was recently announced that he will return to the Broadway stage to star in a revival of Shakespeare’s tragedy “Othello,” which is scheduled to open in the spring of 2025.
Washington will also star in a new Netflix film on the ancient Carthaginian general Hannibal the Conqueror. Acclaimed director Antoine Fuqua is signed on to direct the film.
