Report: Game Has to Pay Up for 40 Glocc Battery
Game was recently ordered to pay $3,000 to 40 Glocc, finally facing penalties for beating the rapper back in July 2012 during an altercation outside a Hollywood Hills party. He was found guilty of battery by Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Susan Bruguera.
The $3,000 penalty, however, is far less than 40 Glocc was hoping for after he sued Game for $4.54 million back in 2013, citing a myriad of damages that included PTSD, medical expenses, lost earnings, punitive damages, pain and suffering, and emotional distress.
While Glocc testified that Game jumped him with a gun, Bruguera did not find the testimony convincing, stating that, "Plaintiff's testimony of suffering with post-traumatic stress disorder as a result of defendant's battery and not because of the prior violence in his life totally lacks credibility."
Due to his "total disregard for the truth," Game got away with nothing more than a slap on the wrist. Still, we don't know what the rest of the trial might bring. The next phase is set for January 14th and will determine if Game has to pay up any punitive damages.
