Tom Brady's Four-Game Suspension Upheld
It was worth a try to appeal, but in the end, the NFL's decision stands.
ESPN is reporting that NFL commissioner Roger Goodell has upheld New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady's four-game suspension over his role in the notorious Deflategate scandal.
Brady had appealed the suspension, which was originally announced in May, on June 23, but it didn't wind up helping his cause as the decision stands.
The defending Super Bowl champion Patriots will now be without the services of their star QB for the first four games of the 2015 NFL season in a bolstered AFC East division.
Brady took to his Facebook account Wednesday morning to express his disappointment over the NFL's decision.

In addition to suspending Brady, the league fined the Patriots $1 million and made them forfeit their 2016 first-round pick and 2017 fourth-round selection.
The NFL also changed their policy for monitoring footballs' air pressure for next season.
